Singapore Catering Training Tour
Singapore's first spice garden , Fort Canning Park, was built by Sir Stamford Raffles in 1822 . In 1999 , Ms. Kwan Lui, the founder of Singapore's Xiangyang Global Chef Academy, proposed a related idea and established the Asian Culinary Academy in 2001 . By 2004 , Xiangyang Global Chef Academy expanded to include both Asian and Western cuisines.
Today, the college is accredited by the Singapore Workforce Development Authority ( WDA ) and holds the Quality Provider (QP) designation for its Singapore Skills Qualification ( WSQ ) courses. The college also cooperates with Johnson & Wales University ( JWU ), a world-class university in the United States. Both institutions are members of the International Association of Culinary Professionals ( IACP ) and the American Culinary Federation ( ACF ).
